Written at the request of accordionist
Joseph Petric, and premiered in its touring version on August 7th, 2004,
this piece mixes the accordion sound with live and prerecorded audio and video processing.
In one interpretation it is an Easter piece,
moving through the Spirit descending, through the mortification
of the flesh, to the Transformation. In another interpretation
it is a glorification of the sensuous nature of sound, skin,
tattoos, piercings, scars, and breathing.
